Paris will host the first edition of eBike Tec, a special platform dedicated to electric bikes, on April 16-18 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center. Organized by ExtraEnergy, the association for the promotion of lightweight vehicles, the event will take place simultaneously with eCar Tec, which showcases electric vehicles and related technologies, at its fourth edition. A test track for e-bikes and e-scooters will be open to the public during the three days of the event. Alongside the trade fair, eBike Tec will also host a conference on the industrial opportunities for electric two-wheelers in France, focusing in particular on the French market compared with the rest of Europe, local manufacturing, approval procedures and export possibilities. eBike Tec will also feature a design contest revolving around “ready to produce” concepts.
