Paul Gils has left Reebok, where he was vice president and brand director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa since 2008, stationed in Amsterdam. His position is being taken on by Katrin Ley, a German executive who worked for Reebok at its U.S. head office as vice president of brand strategy and head of women's sports from the beginning of 2007 until last June. The Dutch-born Gils previously worked for Nike and Columbia Sportswear, where he ran the latter's European operations for three years until 2007.
