Peak Performance, the Swedish ski, outdoor and golf brand, lifted its sales by 7 percent to the equivalent of 977 million Danish kroner (€131.2m-$189.0m) for the year ended on June 30. This emerged in the results of IC Companys, the Danish group that owns Peak Performance along with 10 fashion brands. For Peak, the year was marked by the launch of Progressive, a skiwear range targeted at younger consumers and freestyle skiers. As reported a few weeks ago, the brand moved into several new international markets in the last months. It also continued its store expansion, with seven stores opening in the fiscal year to reach a tally of 84 doors that now make up about 30 percent of the brand's turnover. IC Companys as a whole saw its sales inflate by 12 percent to DKK 3,925 million (€526.9m-$759.1m) for the fiscal year. After extensive structural changes, its operating margin inched up by 0.1 percentage point to 8.2 percent.
