The Swedish ski and outdoor brand Peak Performance is restructuring its B2B business. Marcel Hess, who was previously responsible for the omnichannel business in Central Europe, will take over the management of the global B2B business with immediate effect. Hess has been with Peak Performance for more than 10 years and brings extensive experience and knowledge of the retail and B2B business. As global head of B2B & export, he will continue to drive the omnichannel strategy, position the brand with key retail partners and expand the franchise business. Martin Gaffal, previously country manager for Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland and Slovenia, will take on a new role as head of B2B Central Europe. Together with his team, Gaffal will continue to work on strategic growth plans, particularly in the Alpine region.
Changes in the German sales team
In connection with this change, Peak Performance is also making changes to its German sales team: Alexander Staufer, previously digital key account manager in Germany, will take on the role of sales manager Germany & marketplace. In this role, he will be responsible for the development of the German market, the management of the German sales team and the strategic development of the marketplace business. In addition, Andreas Lang, previously responsible for digital key accounts at Icebreaker, will join the team in Germany on July 1 as key account manager, and Linda Mehlhase will join the team on April 1 as field accounts manager for Germany and Austria, particularly the specialist retailers in the ski, outdoor and casual segments.
