US fitness company Peloton has announced its expansion into Austria, its fifth international market outside the US in addition to Canada, the UK, Australia and Germany.

Peloton Bike, Bike+ and select accessories are now available in Austria through Amazon. Sport-Tiedje, the leading specialty retailer of home fitness equipment in Europe, will carry the Tread treadmill in addition to Peloton Bike, Bike+ and select accessories.

Austrian members will have access to online courses in 16 fitness disciplines, including cycling, running, cardio, strength training, yoga and meditation. This includes more than 5,000 German-language courses led by 11 German-speaking instructors, as well as thousands of courses with German subtitles. To celebrate the launch in Austria, there will be special course content featuring the music of legendary artist Falco.

Price models

The Peloton Bike is available in both Germany and Austria for €1,445, and the Peloton Bike+ for €2,495. The Peloton Tread costs €3,795. The Peloton All-Access membership, which is required to access Peloton hardware, costs €39 per month and allows members to create profiles for the entire household. Individuals who do not own Peloton fitness equipment can purchase a standalone app membership.
