BasicNet has appointed Lorenzo Boglione and Alessandro Boglione as Chief Executive Officers. The announcement was made on April 17 in Turin, where the company is headquartered, during the annual shareholders’ meeting. BasicNet operates a portfolio of globally recognized leisurewear and sportswear brands that includes Kappa, Robe di Kappa, Superga, K-Way, Jesus Jeans, Sabelt, Sebago and Briko.

The leadership transition marks the close of Federico Trono’s two-term tenure as CEO. Trono will maintain strategic roles within the group, said Marco Boglione, founder of BasicNet and the father of Alessandro and Lorenzo. Alessandro and Lorenzo Boglione have held leadership roles within the company for several years, both having served as Vice Presidents.

The recent shareholders meeting also appointed BasicNet’s Board of Directors for the 2025-2027 term, composed of Marco Boglione (Chairman), Alessandro Boglione, Lorenzo Boglione, Maria Boglione, Veerle Bouckaert, Piera Braja, Paola Bruschi, Cristiano Fiorio, Monica Gamberoni, Marco Enrico, Daniela Ovazza, Carlo Pavesio, and Federico Trono.
