Hanover Communications, one of EMEA’s leading strategic communications consultancies, announced the recruitment of former UK Sports Minister Dame Tracey Crouch to help drive the global growth of its fast-growing sports offering. For many years, Hanover has advised the biggest names and brands in the sports sector, including the NFL, the UFC, the England and Wales Cricket Board, the British Horseracing Authority, the Football Association (FA), the Premier League, Sky Sports and many more.
As Managing Director, Sport, Crouch will be responsible for building on the agency’s established expertise to help global sports leaders navigate an increasingly complex business environment.
Crouch, former Minister for Sport, Civil Society and Loneliness and Chair of the Fan Led Review into Football Governance, will join Hanover in early September of 2024 and work closely with Rebecca Hargreaves, Head of Sport at Hanover. Reporting to President and Managing Partner Gavin Megaw, Crouch will be employed on a full-time basis. She will also join Hanover’s Leadership Board, the agency’s senior leadership team.
The hire follows a review of long-term opportunities and strategic hires led by Megaw and Gary Cleland, Group Managing Director for Corporate, Digital and Strategy.
