Sympatex Technologies announced that Kim Scholze will take over as sole CEO, succeeding Dr. Rüdiger Fox, who has led the company since 2016 and played a key role in its sustainability transformation.
Kim Scholze, who joined the management team in 2023 as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, will now be responsible for the company’s overall strategic direction, in addition to her existing sales and marketing duties.
“With this leadership change, we want to set the course for future growth and transformation,” said Scholze. “Our focus is on innovation, strong partnerships and a clear commitment to circularity.”
Rüdiger Fox led Sympatex through a significant transformation, positioning the company as a pioneer in PFAS-free, monomaterial and fiber-to-fiber laminate technologies.
The company said it will continue to collaborate closely with its brand partners and expand its Fiber2Fiber portfolio in pursuit of industry-wide change.
