Brian Rolapp is to serve as CEO this summer.

Rolapp has spent the past 22 years with the National Football League (NFL), rising from an executive post with NFL Media to become, as Golf puts it, the betting favorite to replace NFL Commission Roger Goodell (whose contract runs through 2027). Since 2017 Rolapp has been the NFL’s Chief Media and Business Officer, and was thus the chief negotiator for the league’s two most recent – and historically profitable – media-rights deals.

PGA Tour’s CEO search committee, consisting of Arthur M. Blank, Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, Jay Monahan, Joe Gorder and Sam Kennedy, was unanimous in its decision to appoint him.
