Surf and beach lifestyle brand Reef, founded in 1984 and now a portfolio company of certain affiliates of Charlesbank Capital Partners, has appointed Daniella Turenshine as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective April 22, 2024. She replaces David Lin, who held the position for the past seven years.
Turenshine most recently served as CFO at Figs since December 2021 and as SVP of Finance and Strategy at Figs since November 2018. Prior to that, she was VP at Garnett Station Partners, a growth-oriented investment firm, where she helped build Fridababy, a fast-growing consumer products company. She also worked in private equity at Avista Capital Partners and in investment banking at Credit Suisse.
In her new role, Turenshine will report directly to Gregg Ribatt, the Reef’s CEO. “We are very excited to have Daniella join Reef as CFO as we continue to develop a very talented team focused on driving high-quality, sustainable growth for Reef and our global brand partners,” Ribatt said. “Daniella has deep experience building high-growth consumer brands and leading high-performance finance teams.”
