After a long-standing and successful sales partnership with three agencies in Germany, eyewear and helmet specialist Smith, part of Safilo Group, is opening the next chapter for the brand in the German market. Therefore, the brand has welcomed Michael Horstmann and Florian Krach to its sales force. A particularly strong focus on specialist retailers and shorter communication channels is set to further strengthen the close relationships with the brand’s growing dealer network.

Horstmann brings his international sales experience to Smith, having most recently worked as Sales Account Manager for wholesaler Grofa Action Sports GmbH. In his new role at Smith, he will be responsible as a sales rep for North/West/South Germany. Krach joins Smith after successfully representing Southern Germany as Sales Manager for Thule and, most recently, as Key Account Manager for the Accell Group. He will continue to look after dealer relations in southern Germany.

In her new position as Sales Manager for the DACH region, Sarah Dohrmann heads up the Smith sales team after 11 years at Grofa, where she was most recently responsible for key accounts in Germany.
