The current CEO of Woolrich will be taking over from Sara Molnar as the new President of Peak Performance on April 1.
Amer Sports has announced that Stefano Saccone will be the new President of Peak Performance as of April 1. Saccone, who previously served as CEO of Woolrich, will replace Sara Molnar, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities.
Saccone brings extensive experience in global brand leadership and omnichannel strategy from previous roles at VF Corp., Nike and Ralph Lauren. He will be based in Stockholm, Sweden, and report to Stuart Haselden, CEO of Arc’teryx and of the Technical Apparel segment at Amer Sports.
“Stefano’s experience will be invaluable as we accelerate Peak Performance for long-term success in both its home markets and internationally,” said Amer Sports CEO James Zheng. “With his leadership, I am confident that Peak Performance can reach the next level.”
Molnar has been crucial in transforming Peak Performance from a B2B-led model to a direct-to-consumer-focused business. Under her leadership since 2018, the brand has reestablished its premium positioning, expanded beyond Europe and refined its brand identity. “We extend our best wishes for Sara’s future success,” said Zheng.
