Ted Ligety, two-time Olympic gold medalist, has joined DPS Skis and Phantom Glide as Head of Product Performance.

Ligety will work with DPS to refine and advance their ski designs, focusing on carbon-fiber innovations from the company’s Salt Lake City base. Known for his expertise in ski dynamics and product innovation, Ligety aims to push DPS’s manufacturing capabilities further, promising advancements in performance and durability.

“DPS’s rapid prototype-to-ski capabilities are unique,” he said, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation.

A member of the US Ski Team for 18 seasons, Ligety has 25 World Cup wins and is regarded as one of the best giant slalom skiers in ski racing history. Renowned for his technical prowess and innovative approach to alpine skiing, he brings knowledge from years of developing and testing race skis and innovating with his protection and eyewear company, Shred.
