Performance Days, the trade fair for functional fabrics for sports and work clothing, which took place in Munich on Nov. 4-5, registered a record number of visitors and exhibitors. The event welcomed 1,097 visitors, as compared to 1,020 last year, from 27 countries. The largest contingents from outside the EU were from the U.S., Canada, and Russia, as well as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan. There were 124 companies exhibiting, 18 percent above the November 2013 edition, and they came from 23 countries. The booths were completely sold out. A survey showed that the satisfaction levels rose among both the exhibitors and the visitors. All lectures and panel discussions at Performance Days are now available online in audio and as text. The next edition of the trade show will run on April 28-29, 2015.
