Phantom Glide, DPS Skis’ permanent high-performance base treatment, has introduced a new ski wax named Phantom Glide Nordic. As the name suggests, the wax is designed specifically for Nordic skiing, a discipline where glide is paramount.
The company states that the new wax is environmentally conscious, delivering the same eco-friendly performance as the original formula but optimized to offer a universal glide solution. Phantom Glide Nordic is crafted with a patent-pending polymer technology utilizing microscopic short-chain compounds to penetrate and diffuse into the unstructured sections of ski and snowboard bases. According to the company, a single application is all it takes to enhance the glide for a lifetime of the ski. Additionally, the wax is claimed to be non-harmful to the environment or people.
In conjunction with the launch of the new wax, Phantom Glide also introduces two new sales managers, Doug Sheehy and Pete Leazott.
