Pittards' sales declined by 5.4 percent to £17.4 million (€22.2m-$28.5m) in the first half of this year, ended June 30, but the management indicated that they were up slightly in terms of local currencies. Pre-tax earnings dropped to around £300,000 (€381.36m-$491.70m) from £1 million in the same period a year ago.
