The Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer Porsche and Austrian sporting goods manufacturer Head are launching their first joint winter sports products with the start of the 2022 ski season. At the heart of the cooperation are two ski models with race ski-inspired constructions, featuring solid wood cores, carbon and titanal layers. The ski models are specially designed for use on groomed slopes (Porsche 7 Series), respectively for all-mountain use on- and off-piste (Porsche 8 Series). In addition to the two newly developed ski models, the collaboration also includes apparel, poles, a visor helmet and a bag. The collection was created in cooperation between the product development teams of the Porsche lifestyle group and Head, as well as Porsche brand ambassador and two-time Olympic champion Aksel Lund Svindal.
