
Adidas Originals has unveiled a new campaign for the Indian market featuring existing brand ambassador and Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. With this move, Adidas aims to bring back the streetwear mentality to elite fashion and “democratize access to culture and empower the next generation of icons,” the company said in a press release. For SS2023, the brand is combining the latest versions of its Stan Smith shoe silhouette with its Blue Version apparel offering. The collection’s release is accompanied by a campaign in which Adidas Originals takes on a retro-inspired opera house setting. The images, shot by Errikos and House of Pixels, are meant to challenge preconceived notions of exclusivity and luxury.
The campaign went live on Jan. 24 across social, digital, retail and e-com. The new SS23 Stan Smith styled with Blue Version collection is available via www.adidas.co.in and select retail stores across India.
