The newly founded Peak Ski Company LLC, based in Bozeman, Montana, has just launched its first six ski models offered direct-to-consumer through its website for the winter season 2022/23. Owners of the start-up are former World Cup pro skier Bode Miller and co-founder Andy Wirth, a ski industry veteran who held managing positions at resorts like Squaw Valley and Steamboat Springs for years.

The lineup of skis – all priced at $890 – includes four models of Peak by Bode Miller skis, predominantly for front-country skiing, with each model being delineated by the measurement underfoot, from The Peak 88 up to The Peak 110. The company also offers two side-country models, the Peak SC 98 and Peak SC 104, offering the lightweight characteristics of backcountry or touring skis, yet integrating performance qualities more typically found in resort skis. The product marketing message of Peak skis is centered around a newly developed “Keyhole” technology in the top layer of the aluminum-titanium alloy that allows for less sidecut in the wider models, as the company’s press release states.

The Peak Ski company has developed a special reservation program, including a refundable $50 deposit for customers to lock in the desired model and length of Peak skis ahead of the 2022/23 season.
