Ellesse has signed a three-year contract to sponsor Tomorrowland Winter, a festival of electronic music in the French Alps. This year’s edition – the second one, after the inaugural one in 2019 – is scheduled for March 19-26 at the Alpe D’Huez resort and expects to draw 18,000 people from some 100 countries. Among the DJs scheduled to perform are Afrojack, Kolsch and Dimitri Vegas, and Like Mike.

In a return to snow sports, a sector where it was very strong and innovative in the 1970s, the Italian sportswear brand will be unveiling its autumn/winter 2022/23 winter sports line at the festival, selling it there through a pop-up shop, and hosting surprise activations for the festival’s duration. It will also be showing videos of its snowsport ambassadors there and on social media.

Ellesse was founded in 1959 by Leonardo Servadio, from whose initials the brand derives its name. It has been owned by Pentland Brands since 1987.
