Italian sportswear firm Macron welcomed executives, club managers and coaches from national and international partner federations to its Macron Club&Federation Meeting 2023. The event was held on Nov. 13 and 14 at the Macron headquarters in Valsamoggia, near Bologna. It gathered together 129 guests from 69 clubs and federations coming from 30 countries and four continents who attended workshops and other activities.

On the first day of the event, participants visited the technical center of Bologna FC in Casteldebole. The club, which competes in Serie A and has won seven championship titles in its history, has partnered with Macron since 2001. It is one of the longest-running partnerships in Italian football. The gala dinner was held at Palazzo Re Enzo, a historic building in the center of medieval Bologna. On the second day, participants had the opportunity to share their experiences about their relationship with the sportswear brand.

Macron sponsors more than 90 professional clubs in different sports and countries. The company has 160 flagship stores, and its products are also sold internationally in 800 multi-brand stores. The company reported consolidated revenues of €169.9 million for 2022, representing 36.5 percent growth and a 50 percent increase from pre-pandemic revenues of €112.8 million in 2019.
