Nike is releasing No Finish Line, a new book that celebrates its 50 years of design and innovation in sports while setting a vision for the next 50 years. The book features a foreword by Nike’s chief design officer, John Hoke, and speculative fiction by journalist Geoff Manaugh. It also includes essays by Sam Grawe, the author of Nike: Better Is Temporary, in which he outlines five major shifts design may undergo in the coming decades. Grawe interviewed more than a dozen of Nike’s designers, scientists, engineers, researchers and leaders, who offered insights into Nike’s creative process to get to define and describe these shifts. No Finish Line will be available as from Feb. 14 through select booksellers across the U.S., Europe and Japan.
