According to CMDsport, Pádel Nuestro has extended to 2023 its deal to be the “premium” sponsor and official store of the Challenger youth tournaments put on by the World Padel Tour (WPT) and Ultimate Padel Company (UPC). The original deal dates to last year and the tournaments have since evolved into a professional event, with points awarded for the WPT ranking. The group’s CEO, Emilio Colomina, hopes the sponsorship will extend beyond 2023.

In other news, also reported by CMDsport, Pádel Nuestro is in the running for one of the internet awards connected with World Information Society Day, an annual celebration on May 17 of the founding of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the signing (in 1865) of the first International Telegraph Convention. The group leads Spain and Europe alike in pádel-related sales, thanks to the omnichannel model put together over the years. It does business under four e-tail brands: Pádel Nuestro, Street Padel, Time2Padel and Padelmania. The jury will be deliberating on April 27, and awards will be handed out on May 20.
