Padel Nuestro to sponsor racquet-sports academy

According to CMDsport, Padel Nuestro has struck a deal with Equelité JCF – Sanyo Padel Academy to sponsor its Área de Pádel and all events held there. Run by former professional tennis player Juan Carlos Ferrero and current World Padel Tour (WPT) player Sanyo Gutiérrez, the academy is among the most prominent in Spain, drawing players from Italy, Chile and Argentina. It spreads over a site of some 120,000 square meters, about five minutes outside Villena, in Valencia province, and teaches both pádel and tennis. Sources within the academy tell CMDsport that they are “betting on pádel,” as it is a “sport of the future.”
