Puma’s CEO Arne Freundt told German business magazine Euro am Sonntag last week that his company plans to grow strongly in China: „We see a gradual improvement in the market environment, and we expect to be able to return to double-digit growth as early as this year.” He also expressed confidence in the ability to grow again in the USA in the coming year. Increasing market share in the two countries would remain the main strategic priority. Freundt indicated that the third quarter was in line with original expectations. The company is scheduled to release its Q3 results on Oct. 24.
