Puma has signed David Silva, the Spanish football midfielder known as “El Mago” (the magician), as a brand ambassador. Silva, who currently plays for Manchester City, was previously tied to Adidas. As part of the deal, he will wear Puma One boots. He joins other star players of the sport including Luis Suarez and Romelu Lukaku, who also signed with Puma this year. Silva was part of the Spanish national team that won the Fifa World Cup in South Africa in 2010. Also with the Spanish national team, he has won two European Championships. With Manchester City, he has won three English Premiership titles and one FA Cup.
