Puma has launched its official mobile shopping app in India to further enhance its digital offering to consumers and give them faster access to its latest products and exclusive services. An official statement said that India is the first country where the German sportswear manufacturer’s e-com app has gone live. The company also said that with this move, it has renewed its investment in India as a high-priority market. The company generated record sales of 20.4 billion rupees (€245m) in India during the fiscal year ending December 2021, up 68.2 percent from the previous year. The brand opened 51 new stores last year, bringing them to a total of 450 in the country. The Puma shopping app allows users to buy their favorite sneakers, sporting goods and accessories and is equipped with features such as virtual try-on and 3D animations. App users will also enjoy exclusive content provided by Puma brand ambassadors in the form of videos and regular Q&A sessions. The app features convenient mobile OTP sign-in and secure digital payments, including UPI.
