Puma and Lega Serie A have announced a new long-term partnership that will make the German sports brand the Italian league’s official technical partner from the start of the 2022/23 football season. In addition, the brand will be the official match ball provider for all games in Serie A, Primavera 1 competitions, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa and eSerie A competitions. Serie A is among the most-watched leagues globally, with a total audience of more than one billion viewers in nearly 200 countries annually and over 21 million social media followers across all platforms, Puma said in a press release. Puma is also a global partner of Spain’s LaLiga. Puma made the announcement just before Adidas disclosed that it will take the place of Puma next January as the sponsor of the Italian Football Federation.
