Quiksilver and the World Surf League have announced the return of the Quiksilver Pro G-Land as part of the program for the 2020 WSL Championship Tour next June. The event is returning after 25 years, taking competitive surfers to one of the sport's most remote competitive spots: Grajagan Bay in Indonesia. The first Quiksilver Pro G-Land tour took place in 1995, focusing on remote locations unfamiliar to many of the world's competitive surfers. Kelly Slater won the competition and provided the inspiration for the subsequent Dream Tour. The competition didn't return after its 1995 launch because of the Asian financial crisis.
