Quiksilver has inaugurated its first store in Myanmar, the former Burma, which has recently opened up to the world after many years of isolation. The store was opened in partnership with Sein Wut Hmon Company Limited (SWH Asia) and is located in Kamayut Township, in the capital city of Rangoon, just across the road from the family residence of the country's vice president. The store will sell a complete range of Quiksilver, Roxy and DC Shoes apparel and accessories for men and women. In celebration of the store opening, the Quiksilver store held a skate demo by DC pro team riders from Indonesia, Pevi Permana and Absar Lebeh, who were joined by many of Myanmar's local riders. Quiksilver has also opened a store in the Tampines shopping mall of Singapore in partnership with Royal Sporting House.
