Quiksilver is making strong investments in retailing in Europe. It has completely renovated its 1,200-square-meter store in the Bercy Village section of Paris, which previously belonged to the now defunct Andaska chain. Taking its cues from Quik's new Boardriders store reopened at Capbreton one year ago, it features a vast selection of products by all the group's brands, making it easily the biggest surf, skate and snowboard store in Paris. Visitors can get drinks at a bar and use its computers. In the next weeks, Quiksilver will also be opening stores of 600 m² at Ericeira in Portugal and 400 m² at Newquay in the U.K. The month of December will see the opening of a Quiksilver store in the French ski resort of Chamonix, measuring 200 m² on two levels.
