Quiksilver Women has retained Pop Studio, a design firm in Culver City, California, to help it get the 3-year-old label closer to its surfing roots. The trendy styles of past seasons have been replaced by more beachy designs, and the label is being renamed QSW. It will still sell in higher-end specialty and boutique stores, but the company is also targeting better surf and skate shops.
