Research conducted by a Swiss laboratory on 40 runners showed that their heart frequency went down by two beats per minute on average if they were running with On shoes on a treadmill, rather than with their conventional shoes. Twelve runners experienced a reduction of ten beats. Only two had a higher heart beat. Furthermore, the production of lactic acid fell by 5.4 percent on average with On shoes.
