The Austrian sports specialty chain Hervis, which operates more than 240 doors across six European countries, has donated €47,250 to Austrian Sports Aid that was raised by its “Hervis Team Run.” The initiative saw nearly 4,800 Austrians across the country’s nine states take to the roads or trails to “get moving.” As a result, some 285,682 kilometers were covered by participants who ran, walked or hiked for the effort. For its part, Hervis said it’s essential for it to promote sport, exercise and lifestyle. All the proceeds – earmarked to help young and top athletes in Austria – were donated to Austrian Sports Aid.
