The London Sneaker School (LSS) is opening a concept pop-up store on Savile Row, a street in Mayfair, central London, known principally for its bespoke tailoring for men. LSS provides insights and lessons on shoemaking and starting a sneaker brand. Classes include traditional shoemaking techniques to train people to get to a factory standard. The pop-up store, supported by the creator community CANVVS, will be open at 20 Savile Row for three months starting on July 28. The store is supposed to offer a retail experience that combines manufacturing, education and retail. Handmade sneaker classics from the LSS core collection will be displayed and available to order in-store. In addition, the store will offer a bespoke sneaker service, with shoes handmade in leathers of the client’s choice. Hand-painted elements by local artists who are part of the CANVVS community will also be available on request at the store.
