Slinger Bag, the innovative marketer of portable ball launchers, continues its international drive with a five-year distribution agreement for the Indian market with Racquets4U, a fast-growing specialist e-tailer that is said to be highly rated for the comprehensive marketing and grassroots programs it conducts to help grow the sport of tennis. It has an affiliate, Delux Sports, that has exclusive licensee and distribution rights for Head and other brands.

Meanwhile, Slinger Bag has appointed a tennis media expert, George Mackin, as the first member of a new advisory board, helping Mike Ballardie, the chief executive of the company, to deal with the media, develop the brand and strike technological partnerships. This previous owner of Tennis Magazine and served most recently as chairman of PlaySight Interactive, a leading global sports video technology platform that started with the game of tennis.
