The French sneaker brand Veja has opened its first store in the German capital. Located in the central and historic district of Berlin Mitte, the footwear brand offers its line in a 100 sqm shop. Veja’s minimalist corporate design is already found in the brand’s stores in Paris, Bordeaux and New York. In addition to the men, women, and kids’ collections, an in-store cobbler will offer the repairing and cleaning of sneakers and shoes from Veja, but also other brands. The brand’s first cobbling project was launched in June 2020 in Darwin, Bordeaux, with a space to clean, repair and collect old shoes. In July 2021, a new cobbler shop opened in Paris, in Galeries Lafayette. According to a company release, more than 2,800 pairs have been repaired so far.
