On July 25, 2024, Sport 2000 Nordhorn officially opened. It is the group’s first multi-category retail concept store. Sport 2000 and the managing directors of Speed X GmbH, Deniz Baysoy and Bülent Türün, are behind the implementation. The two entrepreneurs are contributing their many years of experience in sports retail to the new concept, which covers a wide range of product segments, including running, fitness, sports style and team sports.
The increasing specialization seen in Sport 2000 formats such asAbsolute RunandAbsolute Teamsport is increasingly becoming the key to success – especially for multi-category retailers, i.e., all those retailers who cover and focus on several sports experiences instead of one, as in the case of Sport 2000 Nordhorn.
