Swiss sportswear brand On has expanded onto the Iberian Peninsula, opening its first store in Spain on Nov. 21.
Covering some 250 square meters over two floors, the store is located on Calle Serrano in Salamanca district of Madrid and sells shoes, apparel and accessories for running, outdoor, training, tennis and daily wear. It also offers weekly run clubs at 7:00 p.m. every Wednesday.
According to Bianca Pestalozzi-Houchangnia, On’s General Manager for EMEA, Spain represents an opportunity to expand the company’s “global reach” and solidify its “premium positioning in the sports industry,” while the store stands “right along the San Silvestre Vallecana run, which attracts tens of thousands of runners every year, and is ideal to enhance our premium presence and boost brand recognition in Spain’s capital.”
On has recently opened stores in Zurich, Seoul, Mexico City and Riyadh.
