57 Carnaby Street, home of Pangaia’s first standalone UK store

London-based, purpose-driven lifestyle apparel brand Pangaia has opened its first standalone store in the UK on Carnaby Street in the vibrant Soho district, where other renowned retailers such as Adidas Originals, End and Axel Arigato can also be found. The store, officially opened on July 13, is designed to immerse visitors in nature and uses circular practices and materials wherever possible to minimize its environmental footprint.

The store’s standout feature is a large blue sphere, designed to symbolize Mother Earth and visible from the street to remind us of our connection to our environment. Visitors entering the store are greeted by a lush interior with a living planter full of various plants, including evergreens, perennials and herbs, all carefully selected to thrive in the store’s microclimate. The space invigorates the senses, and the scents of nature evoke a sense of calm. As visitors explore the space, they will reconnect with nature and find a sense of calm, as we aim to give back to our environment more than we take from it.

The new store at 57 Carnaby Street offers a comprehensive range of gender-neutral adult and children’s fashion in light and neutral tones across 140 square meters, inviting visitors to discover eco-conscious clothing in the heart of London. In addition to shopping, visitors can also learn about Pangaias’ material science innovations, further underlining the brand’s commitment to science, purpose and design.
