Swedish outdoor apparel brand Peak Performance has officially re-entered the US market with the launch of its 2024 Ski Collection. After achieving success in Canada, the brand introduced its performance-oriented ski gear, now available through its new US e-commerce platform.
“The USA’s global influence within fashion and style, alongside a growing community of new outdoor adventure seekers, makes it an ideal destination for Peak Performance,” said CEO Sara Molnar.
This is not Peak Performance’s first venture into the US. In 1999, under the leadership of Patrik Frisk – who would later become CEO of Timberland, VF Outdoor EMEA and Under Armour – the brand launched in the US, notably sponsoring the FIS Alpine World Championship in Vail. However, the venture was discontinued after Danish owner IC Group acquired Peak Performance.
There is a lot going on at Peak Performance. They have just also opened a physical store in a brand new market.
Now part of Amer Sports, Peak Performance aims to re-establish a foothold in the growing US outdoor adventure market, focusing on sustainability and functionality. The brand’s minimalist Scandinavian designs blend outdoor performance with urban style, appealing to both sports enthusiasts and fashion-forward consumers.
Peak Performance’s re-entry into the US marks a new chapter in its global expansion, as it seeks to attract American consumers while maintaining its commitment to eco-friendly practices.
