Skechers is expanding its retail presence in Spain under the guidance of retail property consultancy Newmark Retail.

The American footwear brand is opening two flagship stores in Madrid and one in A Coruña. The new flagships in Spain’s capital city will be in the Parque Oeste and Rivas Futura shopping centers and will have a retail surface of 744 sqm and 924 sqm, respectively. The 254 sqm store in A Coruña will be at the Marina shopping center. In addition to these new locations, the Californian brand is also expanding its retail footprint across Spain, including at The Style Outlets in Viladecans, Las Rozas and San Sebastián de los Reyes.

Skechers’ sales in Spain and Portugal exceeded the milestone of €200 million last year for the first time, CDM Sport reported. Skechers Iberia, led by Txerra Díaz, posted record revenues of €216.7 million in 2023, representing a 20 percent increase from 2022.
