TechnoSport, the Indian activewear brand that raised 1.75 billion Indian rupees (€19.32m) from an investment fund in June, has announced plans to open 15 new stores across South India in FY 2024. This expansion will strengthen the brand’s presence in key southern states, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
This move is part of TechnoSport’s broader strategy to increase its retail footprint nationwide. The company, which already boasts over 5,000 retailer touchpoints across 15 states, recently opened its first flagship store in Coimbatore. This store marks the beginning of its ambitious retail expansion, aimed at strengthening its omnichannel presence by blending online and offline shopping experiences.
The new stores will feature TechnoSport’s full range of performance and athleisure wear, which is known for being affordable and tailored to the Indian market. The brand, which has seen consistent growth with revenues surpassing ₹2.87 billion (€30.77m) in FY23, aims to leverage these new outlets to further solidify its position in the competitive activewear segment.
