Rip Curl is partnering with Aventuur, a global creator of surf and wellbeing destinations, as the official retail partner for the future Perth Surf Park, a $100 million development in Western Australia.

According to Aventuur, the new surf park, strategically located in Central Cockburn, will open in late 2026. It is expected to welcome over one million visitors per year, offering waves for all abilities, training facilities and sporting and cultural events. The destination will also feature hospitality and retail amenities. 

As the official retail partner for the Perth Surf Park, Rip Curl will establish a new flagship store at the park. The store will offer a comprehensive range of Rip Curl wetsuits and apparel, surfboards and surf hardware, alongside branded park merchandise. The product assortment will also celebrate local Perth and Western Australian surf brands.

The partnership between Rip Curl and Aventuur will also focus on developing recycled and sustainable products, reinforcing their dedication to environmental responsibility. Rip Curl is B-Corp-certified .

The Perth Surf Park is expected to create more than 300 jobs during construction, said Aventuur. Development and environmental approvals have been received, and construction is set to commence later in 2024.
