The world’s leading trade show for alpine technologies, all key players and technology leaders of the global ropeway and alpine technology industry will present their product innovations at INTERALPIN 2023 from April 19-21. In addition, the issues of product positioning, marketing and digitalization will be addressed to an even greater extent. In addition, sustainability is also going to be a topic.
INTERALPIN, which takes place every two years, will also feature the 2nd INTERALPIN Inspiration Days on April 20 and 21. At this conference, everything revolves around the main topics of digitalization and sustainability. “The INTERALPIN Inspiration Days are a young format, which already received great reception at its premiere in 2019, and with its second edition is intended to underline and further expand the thematic leadership of INTERALPIN,” said Christian Mayerhofer, managing director of the organizing company Congress Messe Innsbruck.
The INTERALPIN Inspiration Days will open with a keynote address by Eduardo Santander, executive director of the Brussels-based European Travel Commission. His presentation, “An Outlook into the Future of European Tourism,” will address the future of Alpine tourism in the context of the current political and economic situation in Europe. Over the two days, there will be a total of 14 practical presentations on marketing and data, sustainability in alpine tourism and innovation on the mountain. Keynotes such as “Successfully mastering challenges in building data-driven business models” by Andreas Tauschner (Auveria) or “Electromobility and alternative power trains under extreme conditions” by Professor Timo Jacob (University of Ulm) underline INTERALPIN’s position as the industry’s leading innovation platform.
For visitors, participation in the INTERALPIN Inspiration Days can be booked at a reduced rate of €5.00 per session. Online bookings in advance of the trade show are requested and advisable due to the limited number of seats.
Numerous parallel events will be held at Messe Innsbruck at the same time as INTERALPIN 2023: Among them, the Austrian Ropeway Conference on April 19, 2023, the General Assembly and Seminar of the International Organization for the Ropeway Industry (OITAF) and the meeting of the International Federation of National Associations of Ropeway Companies (FIANET).
