Wilson’s extensive professional experience working with leading sports and outdoor lifestyle brands underscores the group’s commitment to diversifying its business and global development strategy in the apparel, footwear, bags and accessories segments across all seasons. Wilson joins the group to further accelerate the growth of the Softgoods business to double apparel and footwear sales by 2026.

Wilson started at Nike, where she led merchandising for the U.S. women’s sportswear division for 12 years. She then moved to The North Face, where she served as Director of Global Outdoor and Performance Apparel for five years, launching the thermal gear and trail running lines. Most recently, Wilson served as Senior VP of Global Product Creation for Outdoor Research, where she helped double the brand’s business in 4 years.

Wilson is a member of the International Women’s Forum and has more than 20 years of management experience in the outdoor and active lifestyle industry, where she has worked in merchandising, design, development and marketing of performance apparel and accessories. The Rossignol Group reports solid year-over-year growth in footwear and softgoods. With Wilson, this trend is expected to accelerate. Working closely with the group’s development strategy, Wilson will help the brand make multi-activity sports accessible to its customers across all seasons.

As General Manager of the softgoods business unit, Wilson will work from the group’s offices in Milan, Italy, where she will oversee the management of the global softgoods teams in Milan, Saint-Jean-de-Moirans, France, and Shenzen, China. Wilson will report directly to Vincent Wauters, CEO of Rossignol Group. Wauters commented, “[Wilson’s] arrival enables us to reinforce our commitment to product performance, eco conception and style. Under her leadership, we are excited to enter an ambitious new chapter of our softgoods global deployment and release the amazing full potential of the Rossignol brand across all seasons.”
