Rossignol won two awards at Ispo Munich 2019: one for its Whoope Impacts Led children's ski helmet and another for its Supercode men's jacket. Like all of the company's Impacts helmets, the Whoope contains expanded polypropylene (EPP), which is recyclable and can withstand multiple impacts. The material is used in the automotive industry as well. As well as its durability, the Whoope has an LED light to keep the skier visible in fog, heavy snow or darkness. The Supercode jacket, meanwhile, won for its water-resistant knit sleeves. In other product news, Rossignol has added to its Sportchic line a new insulating fabric based on the isothermal blankets used by emergency responders. For the Atelier Course line, the company has incorporated a ventilation technique called Winglet with a single, fixed air-intake in the front. And the Hero line, finally, now has green details inspired by the winning colors of the “Only the best gets Green” competition.
