Runner's World magazine has given the 2011 international “Editor's Choice” award to Asics' GT-2160 shoe, praising its rock-steady stability features, foot-hugging fit and plush cushioning. It is the second time that Asics' GT-2100 series has won the coveted award. In addition, the company's GEL-1170 model got a “Best Buy” award.
