Salming Sports is closing its concept store on Stockholm's main shopping street, Kungsgatan, as one of several changes that the Swedish company plans to implement in the near future. The store first opened in 2015, but since then much has changed in the consumers' buying behavior. Today, Salming has its own stores also in the cities of Gothenburg and Berlin as well as partner shops in Zurich and Sarpsborg, Norway. A new store was scheduled to be opening in Prague earlier this month, but it is one-third the size of the Stockholm store that is closing.
