For the first time in its 76-year history, Salomon has become a Premium Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The French sports equipment company, focusing on mountain sports, will supply clothing, footwear and accessories to the technical staff, competition judges, volunteers, and the staff involved in the Olympic and Paralympic torch relay journey. Founded in 1947 in Annecy, in the French Alps, Salomon is part of Amer Sports, which acquired it in 2005. The 2026 Winter Olympics are scheduled for Feb. 6-22, 2026, in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
